Brandhouse to open Ovisse chain

Brandhouse Oviesse, a joint venture between Brandhouse Retail and Ovisse SpA of Italy,

is all set to open three large format OVS fashion stores, in India. These will come up at Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi. The Chennai store would probably open at the Express Avenue Mall early August. They also have plans to open stores in Pune, Mumbai and Gurgaon between October and January 2011.

Ovisse is an Italian fast fashion brand that provides fashion clothing at regular intervals with an emphasis on high quality and right pricing. While Brandhouse, a part of S Kumars Nationwide -- a leading Indian fashion retailer -- is the master franchisee for brands like Reid & Taylor, Belmonte, Carmichael House and Stephens Brothers. They are also the exclusive India franchisee for international luxury brand Alfred Dunhill. The move to open 190 stores in metros, mini-metros and Tier-II cities would make the company net a projected target of Rs 1,500 crores in the next five years. Brandhouse has been involved in setting up and managing exclusive brand outlets for various brands across India with a special focus on fashion and lifestyle, targeting mainly people in the 18 to 35 age segment.
