Cbazaar eyes overseas expansion

The Chennai-based e-commerce portal Cbazaar is planning to expand operations to the
Middle and South-East Asian countries by the end of next fiscal. Currently, the US, India and the UK account form a chunk of the company’s sales. Formerly called ‘Chennaibazar’, the company began operations in the US and the UK before entering the Indian market in 2011.Cbazaar is the largest online Indian ethnic wear store offering a myriad of Indian ethnic wear for men, women and kids and has a patronage in over 130 countries. It offers varied Indian styles in designer, party wear and everyday fashion. The collection includes over 16,000 exquisite designs. Be it, wedding wear or festive apparels or trendy daily wear, company has a line of designer sarees, salwar kameez, designer kurtis, lehenga-cholis, kids clothing, designer sherwanis, kurta pyjama, pathani suits and many more to suit the occasion.
The portal recently launched Indian ethnic collection as worn by the star-cast of Bollywood film Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns.
