Cherma's introduces footwear

Taking its growth plan ahead, Hyderabad’s readymade garment maker and exporter Cherma's

has added footwear to its retail business. And K F Pestonji, Chairman of Cherma's Group says there could be more diversification and innovation soon. Stared with a few lakhs in August 1980, Cherma's has now grown into Rs185 crores entity. Its first store in Abids was 350 sq. ft. and now Cherma's has over 1.80 lakh sq. ft. showroom space. The group has five retail stores in Hyderabad and one each in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. A very popular retailer in Hyderabad their products are frequently replenished and consumers are assured of quality and service. The company also exports garments worth Rs 35 crores every year, 85 per cent of which goes to the US.

In the future, the company plans to focus more on optimizing existing stores rather than adding new ones. As a part of its 30th anniversary celebrations, Cherma's would be offering gifts and rewards to its customers including instant cash offers ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 90,000.
