Classic Polo to add 80 new outlets by 2015

Classic Polo, the brand for men, from Royal Classic Group plans to increase its store-count from 70 to 150 by the

 end of 2015 through the franchise route. Now, the brand has a presence in all four southern states. In Tamil Nadu alone, it wants to add 30 more stores to existing 30 outlets, whereas in Chennai, the brand looks to have a minimum of 10 stores in the next 12 months.

The company recently launched a new line of men’s wear for youth under the brand CP-BRO. The range, targeted at the young urban men includes: shirts, T-shirts, trousers and denims. Positioned in the mid-premium segment and priced from Rs 1,000- Rs 2,500, Royal Classic is a Rs 500-crores company, with more than Rs 350 crores coming from its export business. It makes over a million pieces of apparel a month for international brands including GAP, Banana Republic, Blue Navy, Baby Vision and Tom Tailor.

Classic Polo products include shirts, T-shirts, denims and trousers. The collection is 55 per cent fashion and 45 per cent core. The brand also has innerwear with three styles in vests and eight styles in briefs and does winter wear like jackets and sweaters too. It has launched sportswear consisting of shorts, three-fours, gym vests and track pants.
