ColorPlus Fashions, a subsidiary of Raymond Group is donning a new look for its retail

and products. With growing awareness about health among today’s men, the brand has decided to undergo a makeover. The brand understands that the New Age, globe-trotting man is aware about latest fashion and styles and is showing a tilt towards tailored-fit clothes.

ColorPlus the Rs 200 crores brand has been seeing demand for tailor-fit clothing increase considerably of late. Around 45 percent of its revenues now come from the sale of tailored-fits up from 15 percent earlier.

Apart from tailored-fits, the company’s product range also has classic and sports fits, which contribute to around 10 percent of its sales. Category-wise, 80 percent of the revenue came from smart casuals, while smart formals and sports wears contributed 10 percent each to the sales. ColorPlus got into tailored-fits a few seasons ago but it gained momentum in the last six months.

The company is also working on a new retail identity of its stores and would test the new concept in each zone across India. This would be followed by a national roll-out. The new store focuses on the product spread and display allowing customers to choose both product as well as the look.
