‘Creative Bee’ enters Mumbai, Delhi

Hyderabad-based retail outlet and design studio Creative Bee, the brainchild of Bina

Rao and her husband has launched its store in Mumbai and New Delhi. Being associated with leading Indian and foreign designers, Creative Bee is well known for its eco-friendly collections. Its best known for its saris, dupattas, stoles, fashion fabrics and home furnishings which are woven using hand-spun natural fibers such as cotton, linen, mulberry silk, tussar, gicha, noile, etc, and are dyed naturally using dyes extracted from various herbs, fruits and other such natural raw materials. Creative Bee has a range of high-profile clients which includes celebrities and people from various strata of society.

Having a vast experience in handlooms, natural dyes, hand block printing as well as international exposure through several fashion shows around the world, Bina Rao is a reputed designer known for her quality and design. She is one of the few Indian designers who have taken Indian weaves to international level by showcasing textile crafts heritage through her collections and lectures at international events and symposiums.
The new store in Mumbai’s hip SoBo area double up as a design studio, bulk sale and retail outlet. And the one in Delhi has come up in the trendy cultural hub of Haus Khaz Village, which houses an extensive collection of her designs incorporated in weaves and prints.
