The International College of Financial Planning is planning to set up an International College of

Fashion in New Delhi. With specially designed course content on entrepreneurship in consultation with the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and the National Institute of Design, the college is all set to spearhead initiatives in fashion and fashion education. Among the faculty members are designer Payal Jain, FDCI director Vinod Kaul and IIT professor Harish Choudhary among others. Students will get an insight into the business of fashion, beyond the glitter and glamour and be able to delve into the nitty-gritty and make a career in this dynamic and evolving field.

The course is a postgraduate diploma in fashion entrepreneurship and is designed to help students understand the complexities, challenges, risks and competition in the fashion business. It will equip them with the tools and resources necessary to understand the forces at work, the motivations and the driving factors. The course will be supplemented by case studies and interactions with professionals and industry leaders. The forthcoming graduates of this course will be able to create their own labels, while also being able to define their market, price range, USP and promotional tools.
