Designer Neeru Kumar debuts online with own portal

Keeping in mind the advent of e-commerce in India, veteran designer

Neeru Kumar has launched tulsionline.in, making her online debut. Traditional techniques, contemporary sensibility, and innovative use of colour are the hallmarks of her work. For handwoven textiles, she is known to be one of the best and most creative designers in India.

Indian fashion and textile industry players have been increasingly logging onto the online space by launching their own websites to display their brands’ collection and also to reach out to their patrons. Designers and brands have been enthusiastic in adopting online as a serious channel for creating awareness, generating interest and creating new sales channels. Established in October 2013 Tulsionline is an extension of the Tulsi brand.

Her designs have two main collections, textiles for the home and garments for women and men, both traditional and western. The range includes bedcovers, cushion covers, throws and wall hangings and accessories such as shawls and scarves along with an extensive range of garments which are woven, printed or embroidered.

Neeru Kumar markets her own products through nationwide established boutiques with shops in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Jaipur, Chennai and Hyderabad under the brand name of ‘Tulsi’.
