Dev R Nil launches first boutique in Kolkata

Ten years after its debut, label Dev R Nil has now booked a huge warehouse space in Kolkata to open its first flagship store.

Designers Debarghya Bairagi and Navonil Das decided to stick to the famous colonial structures, west of the posh Alipore area.

From operating out of a studio space to moving into a 3,600 square feet flagship store, the designers will now be able to offer their customers the entire range offered by the brand under one roof. With prices ranging from Rs 2,500 for ready-to-wear shirts to Rs 2 lakh for bridal ensembles, the designers plan to expand their reach and retail horizon.

After their debut at the very first Lakme Fashion Week in 2006, the duo have never looked back and are known to be the Boys of Bengal carrying the Indian fashion story forward. With beautiful textiles, subtle surface texturing and classic cuts they have created a niche among the Indian fashion fraternity. Dev and Nil, fashion graduates from Kolkata and Canberra respectively are called as the risk takers among the younger lot.
