DLF Brands has announced Dipak Agarwal as the Chief

Executive, Operations and Strategy. Agarwal has been associated as CFO with the company since its inception in 2008 and has played a key role in bringing international brands like DKNY, Boggi Milano, Mango, Sunglass Hut, ELC, Mothercare and Alcott to India.

Timmy Sarna, Managing Director, DLF Brands feels Agarwal’s in-depth knowledge of marketing in relation to the retail industry and the dynamic roles he has played in his career so far, will enable him to have significant impact in expanding the market and success of DLF Brands.

Agarwal will now oversee direct key markets for DLF Brands with prime focus on the operations and strategy developments, and clear objectives of driving the company’s bottom-line revenues while offering an enhanced experience for the customers. He is an MBA in finance and has studied accountancy from ACCA. After spending the initial six years with various financial firms in the UK, he moved to India in 2000, to join as CFO at Planet Retail. After six years, he moved to SSIPL Retail as chief financial officer in December 2006, for a period of two years.
