In keeping with its product expansion plans, Fastrack, the brand from Titan, has unveiled a line

of helmets in Bangalore. The new range sees 24 different variants for ‘guys and girls’ in variety of shades and graphics. Plans are afoot to include a collection of bicycle headgear and accessories in the near future.

Fastrack, launched in 1998, could achieve a more than 50 times growth from Rs 30 crores to Rs 770 crores marking its position as the largest fashion accessories brand in the country amid low consumer buying sentiment. By the end of March 2014, the company expects to generate revenues worth Rs 8 to 10 crores only from the newly launched helmets category and about Rs 50 crores during the fiscal year 2014-15.

As of now, the newly launched products will be sold through 147 Fastrack stores across the country. However, the company has plans to increase the number of Fastrack outlets to 200 by March, 2014. It also plans to sell helmets online through its own portal as well as other fashion online retailers such as Myntra and Jabong in the near future.
