FDCI announces dates for next WIFW A/W and S/S

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), the country's

apex fashion body has announced the dates for the 22nd edition of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Autumn/Winter 2014 and the 23rd Spring/Summer 2015 edition. The A/W edition will be held from March 26 to 30, 2014, while the S/S 2015 edition is scheduled for October 8 to 12, 2014 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

“We are delighted to announce the dates for the upcoming seasons of WIFW as we weave together a coveted list of talented designers, who will showcase their creativity on this prestigious platform,” said FDCI president Sunil Sethi in a statement.

WIFW, a bi-annual event organised by the FDCI, has not only seen many established designers showcasing their collection but is also a springboard for upcoming designers, who get an opportunity to showcase their designs to discerning audiences. FDCI recently formed an alliance with Le New Black, the 24/7 fashion week founded in July 2009 to promote Indian fashion worldwide.
