FDCI forms alliance with Le New Black

Le New Black, the 24/7 fashion week founded in July 2009
has formed a partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) to promote Indian fashion worldwide. The aim is to increase the visibility of best Indian talent among select retailers, buyers et al. Le New Black supports emerging talent and established Indian brands with two seamless offers.Le New Black is the first virtual B2B fashion platform tailored for cutting-edge brands and influential retailers. Nearly, 200 selected brands and 3,000 select retailers from 70 countries use Le New Black’s advanced system to optimise their wholesale and visibility. As a partner, Le New Black will offer one year registration free of charge to Bodice, a figure head of Indian contemporary fashion.
Ruchika Sachdeva, the designer behind Bodice, will own online wholesale showroom on Lenewblack.com as well as advanced sales tools, permanent and optimised sales campaigns online. Her collections will be announced to Le New Black’s network of 5,000 retailers and press contacts by a newsletter and she will have a personal account manager to answer questions and help her optimise sales through Le New Black.
Designers such as Kris Van Assche (Dior Homme), Olympia Le Tan, or AMI (ANDAM Fashion Award 2013) already work with Le Privé, the online wholesale solution for exclusive brands. FDCI will have its own private online wholesale showroom on the URL they choose, accessible by private invitation only. It will have its own logo and visual identity, FDCI’s designers’ collections, images and database of buyers will be imported on the platform, advanced sales tools, permanent and optimised sales campaigns online will be provided. There will also be personal account manager to answer questions and help them to optimise sales through Le Privé.
