The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) which has scheduled the second edition of the Van

Heusen India Men’s Week from August 27 to 29 at The Grand, New Delhi, has kick started the Delhi and Mumbai auditions of male models. Hundreds of aspiring men put their best foot forward and competed to walk the runway for some of the leading lights of the men`s fashion industry.

To qualify the models had to meet the selection criteria of being 5 feet 11 inches or taller. According to Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI the event will not just showcase top trends that are sweeping the menswear industry but also display the best of the modeling industry on the runway.

Jury members who’ve been designated the crucial task of choosing the final models and the future stars of the Indian ramp include anchor/actor Mandira Bedi, model-turned actor Rahul Dev, designers Rohit Bal, Manoviraj Khosla, Varun Bahl, Rohit Gandhi, Anjana Bhargav and model Noyonika Chatterjee. Models are selected on several attributes such as their confidence, attitude and physique.
