Freecultr has opened a new store at Elante Mall in Chandigarh, bringing the
online shopping experience on to the offline space. The store aims to develop a connection between its customers and the retail brand, its products and brand culture. Customers can touch and feel the quality of the products, try them on to understand their best fit and buy their products from the store or through the app and get it delivered at their doorstep.The touch screen app, TapShop, developed by Freecultr, allows shoppers to discover style and buy from the complete collection of Freecultr, while at the store. This ‘digitally’ connected store is a visual and interactive experience that integrates touch screens, digital hangers, product videos, tablets, and scanners to deliver new campaigns, high resolution catalogue browsing experience and styling ideas to allow consumers to replicate the power of online purchasing experience in a physical store environment. Through a wireless bar code scanner you can tap on any product’s bar code which will then appear on the TapShop screen, also showing other products it can be paired with, other colour options of the same product and much more.
Having launched operations in 2011 by focusing on e-commerce, Freecultr has launched the innovative digital pop up model that has a brick and mortar store with efficiencies of the internet. With their recent store launch in New Delhi, this would be their second venture in the country in two months. The brand is expected to open more such retail stores in the coming months.
