Freecultr plans to launch stores to provide the magic of the online shopping experience direct to customers, offline. The
stores are being planned in DLF Place and Kamala Nagar in New Delhi, VR Surat in Surat and Elante Mall in Chandigarh. Having launched operations in 2011, purely as an e-commerce platform, now the company wants to use the efficiencies of the internet to offer seamless blend of modern retail. The concept behind the physical Freecultr stores is to offer customers touch and feel of the quality of the products, try them on to understand their best fit and buy their favorite products from the store or through the app and get it delivered to their doorstep. The proprietary Touch Screen App, TapShop, is a unique application developed by the company allowing shoppers to discover style and buy from the complete collection, while at the store.
This technologically advanced store is a visual and interactive experience that integrates touchscreens, digital hangers, product videos, tablets, and scanners to deliver new campaigns, high resolution catalogue browsing experience and styling ideas, to allow consumers to replicate the power of online purchasing experience in a physical store environment. Through a wireless barcode scanner you can tap on any product’s barcode which will then appear on the TapShop Screen, also showing other products it can be paired with, other colour options of the same product and much more.
