Future Ventures invests in Indus-League Clothing

Future Ventures India (FVIL) has subscribed to 9,39,502
equity shares of Indus-League Clothing (ILCL). ILCL is a subsidiary of FVIL, in which FVIL holds 95.29 per cent of the paid-up equity share capital of ILCL. ILCL is engaged in the business of branded apparels and accessories using its brands Indigo Nation, Scullers, Jealous, Urbana, Urban Yoga, Daniel Hechter, Lee Cooper and John Miller. ILCL has recently entered into licensing arrangement for use of the brand ‘Machester United’.ILCL holds 50 per cent equity into Celio Future Fashion and 25 per cent equity into Turtle, which are focused on men’s apparels under their brands ‘Celio’ and ‘Turtle’ respectively. The total consolidated income of ILCL for the nine months ended December 31, 2011 is Rs.432.74 crores.
FVIL’s shareholding has increased to 95.29 per cent of the present paid-up share capital of ILCL. FVIL is part of Future Group, which was founded on a simple idea -- Rewrite Rules, Retain Values.
