Garcia Jeans’ first store launched in India

Garcia Jeans has opened doors to its first flagship store

in India. The store was inaugurated by Arya Babbar at MBD Mall in Ludhiana. Garcia Jeans donning an international Mediterranean look, combines Dutch commercial acumen with Italian sense of style.

Announcing the brand’s launch in India, Nitin Khanna, Director, Hibiscus Retail said, “We are very excited to announce the launch of 'Garcia Jeans' store in Ludhiana. This is the first store of the brand in India. It will be followed by stores in Mumbai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Amritsar and other key cities in next six months.”

Babbar said, “It's been a pleasure to be part of Garcia Jeans' first store in India here at Ludhiana. When I look for European styles and trends Garcia is the only brand that appeals to me.”

Garcia is part of the JOG Group, a rapidly growing, international organisation. Isabella Mablona Garcia and Maurizio Luigi launched their distinctive jeans in 1977 in the jeans valley of Italian Urbania. Early on, in the story the Dutch company Eurobrooks discovered the Mediterranean look and feel of these jeans – and together they set out to become a progressive, casual denim brand.
