Garden Silk Mills suffers Q2 loss at Rs 9.44 cr

Garden Silk Mills has announced its financial results for

the period ended September 30, 2013. Its net sales/income from operations stood at of Rs 707.84 crores for the quarter against Rs 824.31 crores for the quarter ended September 30, 2012. The net loss was at Rs 9.44 crores for this quarter as against Rs 21.78 crores for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.

The company has reported an EPS of Rs 2.37 for the quarter compared to Rs 5.69 for the quarter ended September 30, 2012. Its net sales/income from operations was Rs 1,510.55 crores for the half-year ended September 30, 2013 against Rs 1,886.04 crores for the half-year ended September 30, 2012. The net loss was at Rs 45.63 crores for the half-year against Rs 52.84 crores for the half-year ended September 30, 2012.
