Actress Genelia D’souza is the new face of Fastrack, one of India’s most popular fashion accessories

brands. She has been signed on to bring out the edgy and sexy side of the brand’s ‘Sweet No More’ sunglasses campaign, a line of sunglasses for girls. Genelia has a chirpy and vibrant presence and is known for her roles in films like Tujhe Meri Kasam and that teenyboppers’ delight, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
 
The Fastrack Girl line focuses on current fashion trends that includes large, colored and shell frames, along with bright gradient lenses. What makes the products even more unique is the innovative play on the Fastrack logo. The first collection of the Fastrack Girl line has 51 variants across 20 styles to choose from, priced between Rs 1,295 to Rs 1,795.
 
Fastrack was launched in 1998 and became an independent urban youth brand in 2005. The brand extended itself into eye gear four years ago and into accessories last year with a range of bags, belts, wallets and wristbands. The ads have a racy appeal. Fastrack accessories, watches and sunglasses are available at exclusive Fastrack stores, various Titan outlets, large format chain stores like Shoppers Stop, Central and Lifestyle and other leading multi-brand optical outlets.
