Gitanjali opens Maya in Mumbai

The Gitanjali Group has opened its first Maya by Gitanjali Lifestyle store in Mumbai.

Spread over 8,000 sq. ft. it stocks over 150 Indian and international brands. The retail chain offers diamond jewelry as part of the basket of multi-brand lifestyle products including apparel, watches, fashion accessories and footwear. The chain currently has eight stores in key Indian cities and some 100 outlets are planned in the next five years. 

Gitanjali was founded as a single company cutting and polishing diamonds for the jewelry trade in 1966. It’s the first major diamond and jewelry house to be launched and run by modern entrepreneurs. It’s at the forefront of the global breakthrough in diamond jewelry design and production and has produced the world’s smallest heart-shaped diamond and developed some 25 patented facet patterns. It has abandoned jewelry trade convention by launching multiple brands for multiple markets and price segments. It also offers diamond studded jewelry at affordable prices of standardized designs and quality.
