Nineteenth century British luxury brand Globe-Trotter with a client list that

includes Queen Elizabeth II, Kylie Minogue and fashion personalities Kate Moss and Dita von Teese among others, has now entered India. It’s aimed at the well- heeled Indian who have bought their stylish travel cases with trademark Globe-Trotter corners. The brand’s first store opened recently at the ITC Maurya Hotel in New Delhi. It also features a line from their latest collaboration -- the new James Bond movie Skyfall -- which resulted in a full-fledged line of jet black designer bags inspired by the secret agent.

Another attraction is an upcoming section of bags created in association with designer Sophie Hulme. Globe-Trotter is a modern heritage brand established in 1897. Founded by Englishman, David Nelken, in Saxony Germany, the company soon returned to the UK in 1901 where it has remained ever since. Today, Globe-Trotter products are style icons adopted by purveyors of traditional craftsmanship and a timeless aesthetic.
