Guys and Dolls to market Disney Shoes in India

Guys and Dolls, an Indian footwear producing firm has

joined hands with US-based Disney Shoes to form a new company called G&D Trade Zone. G&D Trade Zone will market and distribute Disney footwear in India working on a unique distribution strategy, which includes targeting different channels like departmental stores, footwear specialty stores, MBOs and e-retailing. The company targets to achieve Rs 10 crores in sales during the first year and Rs 25 crores in next three years. In 2005, Walt Disney Company had entered into a strategic tie-up with Sierra Industrial Enterprises to manufacture and market Disney Shoes for kids in India.

Guys & Dolls (G&D) headquartered in Delhi, is into footwear production since the last two decades. It specializes in footwear for kids ranging from sandals to shoes from daily wear to party wear, to an elegant collection of school shoes. The company targets children between the age group of 2-14 years.
