Henry Holland finds India exciting for foreign labels

With a surge in luxury-savvy consumers London-based designer Henry Holland,

has partnered with Indo-Britain e-commerce platform Koovs.com to create an exclusive collection for Indian male and female patrons. The brand’s designs have been flaunted by the likes of Katy Perry and Cara Delevingne.

Henry Holland is an English fashion designer, businessman and blogger from Ramsbottom, Greater Manchester. Holland gained attention with his bold, 1980s-inspired T-shirts that displayed catchphrases such as, ‘I'll tell you who's boss, Kate Moss’ in the year 2000. He subsequently designed a full collection and founded his own fashion house – House of Holland.

The designer is best known for his youthful, fun and irreverent designs that epitomise London style. His capsule collection for the Indian audiences, are inspired by vibrant colours and prints of India. The collection is called ‘Henry Holland for Koovs’ and is exclusively available on the e-commerce site for a starting price tag of Rs 1,695. Internationally, the brand is stocked at names like Browns Focus, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Colette, Opening Ceremony and Barneys.

Koovs, the Indian fashion website set up by Lord Alli, the former Chairman of Asos, recently roped in Roy Naismith, a former French Connection Executive and the Deputy Editor of British Vogue.
