Hyper City expands in India

Retail chain Hyper City Retail has added another store in its existing chain. It has recently opened

a 1,00,000 sq ft store at Big Thane Shopping Centre. This is Hyper City’s fifth store in India, and the third in Mumbai. The other stores are in Malad, Vashi, Jaipur and Hyderabad. The chain which is in an expansion mode is aiming to open a store in Amritsar and another in Bangalore this year. The aim is to open five more shopping malls pan-India over the next 18 months.
The new store will carry a range of over 45,000 brands catering to the needs of the entire family. This includes Hyper City’s in house brands. It also offers as selection of fashion clothing, accessories and footwear. The chain also has its exclusive brands. RiverInc is the well known denim brand; City is their everyday wear range of clothes for both men and women. For children and infants, they have Joo Joobs.
