Iconix Q2 revenue up 23 percent

Total revenue of Iconix for the second quarter of 2013 showed a 23 percent increase as

compared to the second quarter of 2012. EBITDA showed a 24 percent increase as compared to the prior year quarter.

Revenue for the six months ended June 30, 2013, showed a 21 percent increase as compared to the prior year period. EBITDA showed a 19 percent increase as compared to the prior year period.

Neil Cole, Chairman and CEO of Iconix Brand Group Inc. said, "With record performance in the second quarter, we made progress on our growth initiatives driving over 20 percent revenue growth and 60 percent EPS growth. We believe the performance we have achieved year-to-date and over the past several years demonstrates the power of our business model, and over the next few years we expect to see additional growth.”

Iconix is based in New York. It owns, licenses and markets consumer brands like Candie's, Mossimo, London Fog and Lee Cooper. It licenses its brands to a network of leading retailers and manufacturers that touch every major segment of retail distribution from the luxury market to the mass market in both the U.S. and worldwide. For financial year 2013 the company is maintaining its revenue guidance of 425 to 435 million dollars and raising its non-GAAP diluted EPS guidance to 2.20 to 2.30 dollars from 2.10 to 2.20 dollars.
