International honour for Falguni and Shane

Globally acclaimed designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock

have bagged Pride of India title for the year 2013, which would be awarded to them at the House of Lords in London. The NRI Institute is organizing a conference on July 19, 2013 at the House of Lords, London to honour the duo. They are receiving this award for their outstanding achievements in the field of fashion.

"We will be flying to London to receive the award. We were selected amongst so many talented shortlisted contestants, so it is very exciting. We just want our work to speak for us," Peacock said in a statement.
They showcase their collection annually at New York Fashion week and retail across the US, Europe, Middle East and South East Asia. Their designs have been donned by many international celebrities. Recently, Paris Hiton was spotted wearing a customized baby pink full length gown with feather embellishments at the bottom at Cannes 2013, designed by the designer-duo. She had also walked for the designers’ grand finale show at India Resort Fashion Week 2012 in Goa.

The designer duo also dressed Giuliana Rancic American television personality, a co-anchor on E! News at the MET Gala apart from designing LA Tattoo artist Kat Von D’s wedding gown. It comes as no surprise as they have designed for numerous international celebrities like Madonna, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Fergie, Nicole Scherzinger, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian.
