Italian luxury clothing and accessories brand Emilio Pucci is

entering India through a partnership with fashion designer Manav Gangwani’s Infinite Luxury Brands. Sources say the first Indian store of the brand created by late Italian designer and politician Emilio Pucci will be open in Delhi’s posh Emporio Mall.

Owned 67 per cent by LVMH Group and the rest by the Pucci family, it is estimated to have an annual turnover of €50 million (Rs 344 crores). In the 1990’s, Emilio Pucci’s daughter, Laudomia, took the reins of the family business and in April of 2000, formed an alliance between the Pucci family and LVMH, with the French luxury group acquiring 67 per cent of the capital. She continues to champion her father’s vision as the Image Director and Deputy Chairman of the brand. Backed by the LVMH Group, the company has soared once again on the international fashion stage, building a global store network of more than 50 mono-brand stores, including the Virtual Boutique, the brand’s online store.

Infinite Luxury Group aims at bringing in renowned international luxury brands to India. The founders of this group are designer Manav Gangwani, entrepreneur Sahiba Narang and finance expert Rahul Kapoor. Having started their first venture in India with Roberto Cavalli, the group plans to widen their portfolio of luxury brands in India, across the fashion & hospitality segment.
