Jabong has launched India’s and possibly the world’s first online fashion week. The event will take place from July 25 to July 30

with participation of the who's who of the Indian fashion fraternity. Jabong is an online fashion store. The event will reach millions of audiences through www.iofw.com. The online fashion week will open its doors by inviting applications from artists across four broad categories: designers, models, fashion photographers, hairstylists and make-up artists from across the country.

The fashion week will offer an exclusive platform to winners to showcase their work. It will also offer training by mentors, including Bollywood actress Yami Gautam, who will be giving grooming tips. Talent across various verticals will be required to submit their entries for this event as per a pre-defined theme and a timeline. India Online Fashion Week aims at providing a world-class career-defining opportunity to aspiring artists while honing the skills of budding talent. It’s an initiative to bridge the gap between aspiring artists and the fashion industry.

It will also serve as a medium to connect budding designers with their audiences. The designs will be up on www.jabong.com, thus giving them a chance to showcase and sell their designs as well. In its inaugural season, IOFW 2014 will launch its first-ever, Fall/Festive collection consisting of prêt-a porter and party designs.
