Designer Jattinn Kochhar has unveiled a range of personal carewellness collection titled TathaVastram. The range consists of organic herbal clothing which is completely free of synthetic chemicals and toxic irritants and is organic, sustainable and biodegradable. It emphasizes the importance of an environmentally friendly way of living and sustaining the world in a virtuous way for future generations.
Elaborating on the concept of herbal clothing, Divita Kanoria, Founder, The Vedic Collection says, “ For the first time in India, people can wear organic cotton clothing with selected herbs permanently infused, using age old methods and techniques, which delivers a host of benefits for overall wellbeing. The healing value of herbal clothing and its usage is based on the principle of touch and by coming in contact, the body loses toxins and its metabolism is enhanced. Herbal clothing helps in fighting many common and prevalent diseases such as hypertension, heart ailments, asthma, diabetes, arthritis, rheumatism and skin infections among others.”
The collection will be retailed exclusively through the Vedic Collection outlets at Carriappa Marg, Sainik Farms, New Delhi and through an online platform.
