The JD Institute for Fashion Technology has opened its new campus in Noida. The new set up has
120 seats with state-of-the-art facilities and the best faculty in the industry. Students interested in a career in fashion can enroll for free workshops held at the institute. At affordable fees and with placement assistance, the JD Institute offers both degree and diploma courses in fashion and apparel design, interior designing and jewelry designing. The degree courses are affiliated to Kuvempu University, Karnataka. JD also offers a few short term courses in visual merchandising, garment export management etc. Some of JD’s former students are: Rocky S, Shane Peacock, Meheka Mirpuri and Smit Raj Gyanani (participant at the Van Heusen India Men’s Fashion Week 2010).The institute provides a platform to its students to participate in exhibitions, conferences, trade expositions and fashion shows. And through exhibitions, expositions and interactions with industry experts, students get a chance to develop to their fullest capacity. J D Institute of Fashion Technology, established in 1988, is one of India’s pioneer fashion education institutes. The first branch was opened in Mumbai. Today, there branches are spread all over the country from Mumbai to New Delhi, Bangalore to Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Nagpur and Guwahati.
