JWT wins the creative for Louis Philippe

After a multi-agency pitch, JWT India has won the creative
mandate for the premium men’s wear brand Louis Philippe. JWT will be handling the company’s account from its office in Bangalore. The account was earlier handled by Contact Bangalore.With this win, JWT Bangalore will now be handling accounts for two of Madura Fashion & Lifestyle’s (MFL) largest brands, Louis Philippe and Van Heusen. JWT Bangalore’s senior vice president Rajesh Gangwani says that it is for the first time that Madura Group is consolidating two of its biggest brands under one agency. He said that the agency’s sharp strategic viewpoint on the brand and its differentiated platform for the brand helped JWT to win the creative account responsibility of Louis Philippe.
Louis Philippe was initially launched in United Kingdom and it came to India in 1989. In November 2008, the brand launched its sub-brand Luxure and recently made a foray into the footwear segment as well.
