has bagged the coveted ‘Retailer of the Year Award’ for excellence in traditional fashion and lifestyle retailing at the Asia Retail Congress. Kalamandir also won the title ‘Master Brand’ at the awards hosted by CMO Council and CMO Asia.Sai Silks Kalamandir is a group of companies with several top brands under its umbrella. And they have a strong presence in the Indian market. The Sai Silks Kalamandir is a leading designer apparel store having presence across India. Their flagship brand Kalamandir is South India’s favorite destination for designer saris. Established in 2005 in Hyderabad, the group operates 26 retail stores out of which 11 stores are under the flagship brand Kalamandir with four in Hyderabad, five in Bangalore and one each in Vijaywada and Guntur. They have two stores, one each in Hyderabad and Bangalore under the brand name Mandir, one store is run under the brand name Varamahalakshmi in Bangalore. Their brand Sindoor is spread across 12 stores through shop-in-shops format at Big Bazaar and Bharti Wal-Mart located in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Vijaywada, Vishakapatnam, Mysore and Mangalore. They also have six other sub brands besides these.
