Kapoors open Dubai store

Dubai has emerged as a fashion hub of the Middle East. Couturiers Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor have

recently made their debut in the Dubai market by opening an exclusive store. The store was launched by Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu and witnessed the crème de la crème of Dubai fashionistas. The newly opened store is situated in a beautiful villa and the collection includes dresses like fitted tunics, shift dresses, embroidered neck pieces and knee-length gowns as well as bridal wear. Apart from their couture label, the husband-wife team is also marking the global launch of their new line A&AK through this opening. The collection has branded and customized abeya pieces exclusively for the clientele of Lebanon and South America.

The menswear line goes beyond the time-tested palette of grey and beige. The gowns have an inclusion of bejeweled elements. Besides clothes, the store will also offer jewelry in the price range of 5000 dirhams. Both the designers have added a personal touch to their design studio by staying in touch with clients, wishing them on special days and inviting them for elaborate and exclusive coffee sessions. Apart from the new store in Dubai, Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor also successfully operate three flagship stores in Mumbai, Delhi and Hong Kong. Meanwhile, the designers plan to have a second store in Delhi and Mumbai in the near future.
