Kashmiri shawls now on Kashmirbox

The intricately hand-woven and embroidered

apparels and delicate Pashmina shawls, sourced directly from the Kashmir valley, are now made available on newly launched e-platform Kashmirbox.com. These will be delivered right at the doorstep anywhere in the world. Launched by a group of three young men, Kaashif Ahmad, Muheet Mehraj and Ishfaq Mir, the online shopping portal aims to portray and market Kashmir-made garments and accessories to the world.

The website displays a wide range of apparels including traditional Kashmiri pherans, shawls and woollen stoles in shades of bright mustard, off-white, black and purple hues. Other than a wide display of apparels, the web store also features a range of signature Kashmiri home textiles, such as colourful cloth bags, rugs and cushion covers, handicrafts, furniture, books, artwork and other specialities made by talented artisans and craftsmen from Jammu and Kashmir.
