Katrina Kaif, new brand ambassador for Flite

Bollywood star Katrina Kaif has been signed up by

footwear maker Relaxo for two years as the brand ambassador for Flite brand. During this period, Kaif will be endorsing Flite which has youth as its target audience.

Gaurav Dua, Executive Director at Relaxo Footwear says that as Flite is positioned as a brand symbolic to youth, comfort and elegance, Kaif is the best person to carry the brand persona a step ahead. He feels Kaif’s vibrant and unconventional style is often imitated by girls across the country which is why she was the perfect match for the new campaign. Kaif will be featured in television commercials endorsing the Flite footwear which would be aired in the near future.

Relaxo Footwear produces over three lakh pairs of footwear per day at nine manufacturing units in north India. The company recorded a turnover of Rs 870 crores in 2011-12. Other brands which the company manufactures are Sparx, Schoolmate, Elena, Mary Jane and Boston among others.
