Kewal Kiran’s Q2 net profit increases Rs 23.53 crores

Kewal Kiran Clothing has reported Rs 116.55 crores net

sales/income from operations for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 as against Rs 91.64 crores for the same quarter in 2012. The net profit was at Rs 23.53 crores for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 as against Rs 17.65 crores for the same quarter last year.

The company reported Rs191.04 crores net sales/income from operations for the half-year ended September 30, 2013 as against Rs 148.51 crores for the same period last year. The net profit stood at Rs 35.71 crores for Q2 as against Rs 24.92 crores for the half-year ended September 30, 2012.

Kewal Kiran Clothing has two brands under its portfolio – Integriti, menswear brand launched in 2002 and extended the range to include western casual wear and fashion accessories for women (IntegritiGalz) in 2009. The 15-year old lifestyle apparel brand Lawman Pg3, on the other hand, offers a range of items including shirts, blazers, jackets, trousers, T-shirts, cargos, capris, drapes, jeggings, skirts, shorts, accessories, innerwear, socks, footwear, headwear, sunglasses and deodorants.
