KG Denim reports Rs 74.8 million profit FY-12

KG Denim has announced its financial results for the period

ended March 31, 2012. The company has posted a net profit of Rs 0.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to (Rs 1.6) million for the quarter ended March 31, 2011. The total income was at Rs 1,028.3 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 whereas the same was at Rs 904.8 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2011, an increase of 13.65 per cent.

The company has reported an EPS of Rs 0.00 for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to (Rs 0.06) for the quarter ended March 31, 2011. It posted a net profit of Rs 74.8 million for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 38.1 million for the year ended March 31, 2011, representing an increase of 96.33 per cent. Total income was at Rs 4,312.6 million whereas the same was at Rs 3,740.7 million for the year ended March 31, 2011, an increase of 15.29 per cent.

The company has reported an EPS of Rs 2.91 for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 1.48 for the year ended March 31, 2011.
