After establishing its presence in Dubai, Kimaya Fashions

and Karmik,launched at Lakme Fashion Week four months back are planning to enter Pakistan, Bangladesh and Colombo, Bahrain, Kuwait. The company launched six Karmik stores in one week after its launch, two in Delhi, one in Mumbai, one in Bangalore, one in Chennai and one in Ludhiana. This month, it will add nine more stores and 12 more in February next year. The company plans to add 60 outlets within three years.

Kimaya has tied up with 12 top designers of India such as Ritu Beri, JJ Valya, Rohit Bal, Rina Dhaka, Anamika Khanna, Ranna Gill, Kavita Bhartia, Shane Falguni Peacock and Rocky S and designers from Pakistan because Karmik will be set up in Pakistan and other parts of Indian subcontinents. Inking tie-up with six Pakistani brands, Kimaya will be licensing Karmik brand name, manufacturing in high scale, reducing the price and offering to customers.

After Kimaya Fashions hit the right chord with its target audience, aiming to make designer wear accessible and affordable to the masses, Kimaya owners Pradeep and Neha Hirani introduced their new brand Karmik at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2012 at the beginning of this year. The idea behind this concept was to reach out to Tier II cities like Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Surat and Ahmedabad, which are showing demand potential for designer collection.
