Kitex Garments Q3 net profit stands at Rs 11.32 cr

Kitex Garments in its financial results for the period ended December 31, 2013

has said that its net sales/income from operations was Rs 99.44 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2013 against Rs 96.51 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2012. The net profit was Rs 11.32 crores for as against Rs 10.36 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2012. The company has reported an EPS of Rs 2.38 as compared to Rs 2.18 announced in the same quarter last year.

Its net sales/income from operations stood at Rs 300.02 crores for the nine months period ended December 31, 2013 against Rs 225.88 crores for the nine months period ended December 31, 2012. Net profit was at Rs 36.28 crores against Rs 21.61 crores for the nine months period ended December 31, 2012.

Kitex Garments is a 100 percent export-oriented unit specialising in garments for babies up to 24 months old. Kitex products are now sold through 9,000 outlets in 70 countries, including departmental stores such as Walmart and Target. Witnessing a solid business growth, company is aiming to be the leading player in the industry by 2015 with a target business of Rs 1,500 crores.
