Leather bags and accessories brand Lavie, a part of the Gurgaon-based Planet Retail has

plans to add footwear and eyewear range to its product portfolio over the next two years. The fashion and lifestyle handbags brand launched its collection last year and also signed up Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor to endorse the brand.

After handbags, the company is looking at strengthening its foothold in the accessories segments, so venturing into footwear and eyewear is a natural extension to achieve the target. The current range of handbags is sourced from around the globe but the company is yet to decide upon where the new additions would be sourced from.

Lavie is targeting revenues of Rs 100 crores in the next 2-3 years. Lavie handbags are available at multi-brand retail outlets and the firm would add five stores to the existing five EBOs. Along with the product portfolio expansion, retail expansion is also on radar, with a plan to launch 35-40 EBOs in next three years.
