Lecoanet-Hemant have launched their first flagship store in Delhi.

The boutique will house runway collections as well as the newly launched Indo-fusion line for both men and women. Six women including Masaba Gupta, Rina Dhaka, Malini Ramani and Anupama Dayal have designed the T-shirts to be sold in the store during the launch phase. The store will also offer personal shopping experiences in the form of consultation for women as well as a Quick Tux and Easy Order format for made-to-order suits for men. Besides its women’s and menswear collections, the brand also has an ayurvedic line of clothing called LH Cars.

Lecoanet-Hemant, the Indo-French designers have united not only the east and the west but also the past to the future. Their early years were spent in Paris as one of the very rare still existing haute couture houses, a field where garments are unique pieces of art, handmade to perfection abiding the principles of a secular manufacturing tradition to move to India where they continue work with an identical approach but at a hi-tech industrial level. Their new headquarters thus unites the concept of an atelier, or traditional workroom with ultra-modern cutting edge technology: a challenge to create a unique product.
