In a world where we are surrounded by brands it’s difficult toarticulate which brand excites the consumer the most. Brand Equity's ‘The Most Exciting Brands’ a new annual research property from Brand Equity and Nielsen attempts to solve this. The survey connects directly to the youth to discover the brands that capture the imagination of these fickle, hard to impress consumers. The survey and its methodology will be tweaked and expanded in the years to come, to better represent the universe of brands relevant to young India and to capture those that stand out as the buzziest, trendiest and most exciting.
While the survey spreads across the entire universe of brands right from FMCG brands to the most iconic politicians and business men, in the apparel section we have Levi’s topping the brand list. Other brands featuring in the apparel category were Park Avenue on second position, Peter England third, Lee on fourth position and John Players on the fifth position.
Similarly, in sportswear and footwear section Adidas has topped the list, Reebok stands second, Bata third, Puma fourth and Woodland was on the fifth position. Other brands in this category were Nike, Calvin Klein, Power, Converse and Fila.
