Liberty achieves production of over one crore footwear

Liberty Group has recently announced it has become the first brand to have crossed

the one crore pairs of footwear figure. The announcement was made during a fashion show at Karnal where a mega pair of footwear was unveiled by the management of the group. The event was organised for distributors and channel partners of Liberty across the country.

Liberty Group has been registering good year-on-year growth despite the current economic condition and was able to sell about 82 lakh pairs of shoes last year. The company has now decided to woo customers with about 1.10 lakh pairs of fashionable shoes with the aim of achieving 34 percent growth. The brand caters to women, men and kids with its wide range of footwear collection.

Announcing its Q3 results, the company had reported net sales/income from operations of Rs 110.45 crores against Rs 90.10 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2012. The net profit was at Rs 3.23 crore for the quarter against Rs 1.77 crore for the same quarter last year.
