Liberty opens 100th store at Growel's 101 mall

Liberty Shoes has expanded its footprint in Mumbai by opening its 100th store at

Growel’s 101 Mall in Kandivali. Spread over a 1,562 square foot area, the new store offers many stylish footwear brands. The 50-year-old brand known for its stylish designs has outlets in more than 25 countries. Along with trendy and formal footwear for the youth, the brand offers specialized footwear for the elderly and toddlers.

Announcing its third quarter results, the company reported net sales/income from operations of Rs 110.45 crores against Rs 90.10 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2012. The net profit was at Rs 3.23 crore for the quarter against Rs 1.77 crore for the same quarter last year.

It had reported net sales/income from operations of Rs 319.22 crores for the nine months period ended December 31, 2013 against Rs 236.35 crores for the nine months ended December 31, 2012. The net profit was at Rs 8.86 crore for the these nine months as against Rs 4 crore for the same period last year.
