Lifestyle to touch $1bn by 2013

The Lifestyle group of companies expects to have revenues worth $1 billion in two years.

Lifestyle International spans 104 stores across department store Lifestyle, value fashion chain Max, home decor format Home Centre and the fashion brands Splash and Bossini. Sales per sq. ft. which is a measurement of productivity are 20 to 25 per cent higher than other department stores. Lifestyle is an aspirational department store selling international and national brands and is complemented by private labels contributing 25 per cent to its sales. The south contributes about 40 per cent to sales.

Lifestyle International opened its first store in India in 1999 and in a little over a decade has come to be recognized among the leading retail companies in the country. It is a part of the prestigious $3.2 billion Landmark Group (Dubai).
