Lilliput’s London winter

Lilliput, the premiere Indian children’s garment brand has just launched its autumn/winter 2010

collection to coincide with the festive shopping across the country. The glorious English countryside and the glamour of British high street fashion are the inspirations for this collection aptly titled ‘The London Winter Collection’. The collection consists of trendy sweaters, jackets, ponchos, trousers, denims with a subtle fading, three piece suits, princess gowns, skirts with stockings, hooded sweatshirts, dresses and harem pants catering from infant to pre-teens of both genders. To ensure the little ones can express their individual styles, there is a wide range of accessories too in this collection like mufflers, gloves and blingy items.

The London Winter Collection is quite dazzling in its color scheme and reflects the warmth required in winter. Solid colors like black, brown and navy are accentuated with contrasting fuchsias, reds and turquoises make bright statements whilst earthy autumnal colors like olive, beige, stone and khaki create an alternate toned down look.

The fabrics used in this collection ensure that comfort is not compromised for style, keeping in mind that Indian winters are a far cry from the frightfully cold ones in the UK.
