Louis Philippe, the brand under Madura Fashion and Lifestyle stable has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2014

collection that takes an inspiration from Bangkok, the exquisite textiles of Indonesia with luxurious new fabrics such as Indigo, Ikat, Tie & Dye and Batik.

Mandarin collars, jackets with loop fastenings, soft linens, indigo prints and coloured loafers are some of styles from the new line. The collection also has a line of soft linen shirts and shorts, formal as well as casual linen jackets influenced by Vietnam. The shades vary from vibrant blues, surf whites to brilliant reds that showcase an influence of Thailand. The collection is completed with cotton linen scarves and tassel shoes, ties and other accessories.

LP by Louis Philippe flaunts preppy beach style and nautical looks this Spring/Summer. The Great Barrier Reef, a beach inspired range has the relaxed beach look. The iconic sports essentials have easy silhouettes, bold patterns and bright pastels. From sea to sand and deck to harbor, the Gold Coast portrays the spirit of nautical journey. Inspired by the racetracks of Australia, Queensland Raceway consists of a range of sport shirts, polo shirts, sport chinos and accessories. The colour palette is dominated by navy and clinical green.

Louis Philippe contributes 30 percent to the overall turnover of Madura Group. With a year-on-year growth of 25 percent, the company is looking to a turnover of Rs 1,200 crores in FY 2013-14. The brand is present in 100 cities and its retail plans includes opening stores in 100 more towns in this and next fiscal. On agenda is to add around 40-50 stores every year apart from expanding presence in Tier II cities.
