British luxury handmade shoe brand John Lobb has inked a tie up with Mumbai-based Regalia Luxury to enter the Indian market.
Regalia will handle the distribution and retail of John Lobb’s bespoke shoe range in the country. Starting with made-to-measure products on request priced from Rs 45,000 to Rs 6 lakh a pair, the brand will open exclusive stores later.
Now owned by French luxury house Hermes Group, John Lobb has designed shoes for the rich and famous like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Aristotle Onassis and George Bernard Shaw. The brand also enjoyed a clientele from India back in 1900's when members of Indian royal families were its patrons. The service allows customers to place a special order on shoes that reflect their style and precisely match their personal expectations after choosing from over 150 available models from the past and current John Lobb collections.
Apart from this recent tie up with John Lobb, Regalia Luxury also sells high-end Italian men’s wear brand Kiton in India. Last year, John Lobb partnered with the Taj Group to launch its shoe care service in Mumbai, which would now be introduced in New Delhi as well.
