Madura Garmnets’ super-premium lifestyle retail chain ‘The

Collective’ is planning to expand its retail network by adding around 15 stores in the next one year. The company’s eighth store would soon be opened in Chennai followed by stores in Hyderabad, Kolkata, Noida, New Delhi and Mumbai. Exploring Tier II and Tier III towns like Kochi is also on the agenda.

With its portfolio of foreign brands like Hackett, Etiqueta Negra, Paul & Shark, Robert Graham and Hugo Boss Green and bag brands in women’s accessories range including Michael Kors, Lulu Guinness, Love Moschino, Ted Baker, Coccinelle among others, the company wants to reach out and fulfill rising demand for super premium fashion. The company also plans to showcase Indian fashion designers’ collection through its stores.

Keeping the increase in number of online shoppers, Madura has also logged onto the e-commerce space with TrendIn. TrendIn has been formed as a separate division within the company, and has 30-member team working on its development. The company expects the portal to contribute around 3 percent of its total sales, and over five to six years, it could rise to 5-6 percent.
